Everyday we carry out asbestos surveys that makes people's business properties safer places to work… The purpose of these surveys is as follows:

  • To locate and log the quantity of any asbestos containing materials in the building(s)
  • To show locations of all materials sampled (both positive and negative) on a current floor plan of the property
  • To record the accessibility and therefore the level of risk of any asbestos containing materials found
  • To record the condition of sampled asbestos containing materials
  • To record the condition of any surface treatment of a positive sampled material
  • To record the asbestos type, by sampling and testing at a UKAS accredited laboratory.

The goal of this survey is that nobody, during their normal day-to-day activity, in your business premises is harmed by or disturbs any asbestos containing materials.

To make your building(s) safe our surveyors will find and identify any asbestos containing materials that might have been used in the construction or the fabric of your property.

Following the survey our report backed up with our Helpline 0845 607 6813 will give you the necessary guidance to ensure you manage the risks associated with any asbestos materials found in your property.

Important: This type of survey is required where the premises, or any part of, need upgrading, refurbishment or demolition…

This survey locates and identifies all asbestos containing materials before ANY structural work begins at your premises.

Please note that this type of survey will involve destructive inspection and possible asbestos disturbance.

The area to be refurbished or demolished must be vacated during the survey; these areas will then be certified 'fit for reoccupation' after the survey.

I Look forward to talking to you soon
